Xbox Live Deal of the Week - 02/02/10

360 News | Explosive fun.

Early this morning Microsoft unleashed a new Deal of the Week on the Xbox Live Marketplace. This week, the Arcade game Splosion Man has been reduced to 400 Microsoft Points (approximately AUD $6.60), a saving of 50%.

Coming in at 339 MB, Splosion Man is a side-scrolling action platformer developed by Twisted Pixel Games. In the game players can explode to "jump", as well as kill enemies, break destructible walls and solve puzzles. There is a total of 50 levels to play through as well as four-player co-op and 3 boss battles.

Please remember that all Deal of the Week specials are exclusive to Xbox Live Gold subscription holders.

I've heard good things about this one, guess I'll have to get it. Just hope the 120GB HDD I bought from eBay comes while the deal's still active.

I got this game at launch.
I'd say it's one of the best XBLA games to be released; along with Shadow Compelex.
The game is not for everyone; but the game shines none the less; it's simple game mechanics; the quirky atmosphere, all work wonderfully... Now I wonder what Comic Jumper will be like if this and The Maw are any sign of what Twisted Pixel are capable of.

Comic Jumper will be a first day purchase solely because of the humour (that and Twisted Pixel have done no wrong so far). This deal is a great way for people to grab a really quirky and fun platformer that is sorely missing in this current day and age.

off topic question: can you redownload a game on xbl if you purchased it before on another console but your using the same gamer tag?

As far as I know; yes; but only with the gamertag that bought it. I think you'ld need to transfer the liscences though.

try going to download history and re downloading it. If you cant go to the xbox site, than go to the search engine and type DRM. Than follow the steps and you transfer all licenses to your new console

RE: Buying games previously purchased by you.. If you use the same gamer tag you can download it, but you'll have to be online to play full version, otherwise it reverts back to demo only..

If you are always online with your X360 then I guess you'll never notice it!

Bought it. Seems pretty fun. I havn't got much time to play it with mass effect 2 taking up all my gaming time at the moment.

But for the cheap price, if you don't already have it you should pick it up.
