No more Burnout Paradise DLC

360 News | All good things must come to an end.
While many of us have enjoyed the thrills and spills of Burnout Paradise, it looks like developer Criteron Games have jammed on the brakes at the prospect of any new DLC content making its way into the title.

As the game approaches its two-year anniversary, the company has made its feelings known on its Twitter page.

"Please stop asking us for Burnout Paradise DLC. There will be no more! Sorry everyone! But we did WAY more than everyone else."

While many gamers will lament the move, we can take stock in the fact that Criterion offered up vast amounts of post-release DLC for the arcade-styled racer, which added a number of locations, modes and vehicles to the title. Hell, they almost even gave us the moon.

More like they need to bury Burnout Paradise and get to work on the Need for Speed title they've been commissioned to develop.

Such a shame as Burnout Paradise is such an awesome racing game...fingers crossed that they can revive the mouldy NFS franchise.
