Xbox Live Deal of the Week - 18/01/10

360 News | A massive trio.
It's Monday (or early Tuesday morning for Australians) again, which means a new Deal of the Week has started on the Xbox Live Marketplace. This week, Microsoft has discounted three Marketplace items, the details of which you can find below.

Title: Mass Effect DLC – Bring Down the Sky
Original Price: 400 MSP (AU$6.60)
New Price: 240 MSP (AU$3.96)
Download Size: 253 MB

To celebrate the release of Mass Effect 2 next week, Microsoft has discounted both DLC packs for the original Mass Effect. The first pack, Bring Down the Sky, takes players to a new uncharted world that is home to the Batarians, a four-eyed humanoid species. Sheppard quickly discovers an extremist group on the planet has hijacked a mobile asteroid station, and has set it on a collision course with the nearby colony world of Terra Nova. It's up to you to thwart the group's plans and save millions of lives.

Title: Mass Effect DLC – Pinnacle Station
Original Price: 400 MSP (AU$6.60)
New Price: 240 MSP (AU$3.96)
Download Size: 249 MB

In the Pinnacle Station DLC players encounter a top-secret Alliance space station which houses a combat arena. There are a total of 13 combat challenges to undertake including Hunt, Survival, Timed and Capture, all up taking around 2-3 hours to complete.

Title: Hasbro Family Game Night: Battleship

New Price: 400 MSP (AU$6.60)
Download Size: 204 KB (need to download the free Hasbro Family Game Night application which comes in at 237 MB)

This is more than just an electronic version of the board game classic Battleship – you can add a twist to the standard gameplay by playing it in Salvo Mode, Super Weapons mode or create your own custom options. In addition you will have access to online multiplayer and leaderboards.

Please remember that all Deal of the Week specials are exclusive to Xbox Live Gold subscription holders.
