Xbox Live Deal of the Week - 28/12/09

360 News | A big purple blob to play with.
It's Monday (or early Tuesday morning for Australians) again, which means a new Deal of the Week has started on the Xbox Live Marketplace. This week, the Arcade game The Maw has been reduced to 400 Microsoft Points (approximately AUD $6.60), a saving of 50%.

Coming in at 147 MB, The Maw is an action game that sees players control a large blob-like creature called Maw. The creature is virtually indestructible, can copy the traits of anything it digests (Kirby anyone?), and can grow to unlimited size. It’s not just a solo affair though; Maw will also be accompanied by his friend Frank as the duo work together to gain their freedom. There is a total of eight levels to play through, each featuring puzzles to solve and different powers to discover.

Please remember that all Deal of the Week specials are exclusive to Xbox Live Gold subscription holders.

My missus enjoyed this; I myself got bored about halfway through. Also got all the 'DLC' levels. Easy enough if your thorough to earn all Achievements too.
But yes can always download the demo to see for yourself.

Buy it. Best 400 points you'll spend this year. But don't buy it if the trial bores you.

I want a Maw of my own.
