Xbox Live Deal of the Week - 21/12/09

360 News | Infiltrate Microsoft's secret underground base.
It's Monday (or early Tuesday morning for Australians) again, which means a new Deal of the Week has started on the Xbox Live Marketplace. This week, the Arcade game Shadow Complex has been reduced to 800 Microsoft Points (approximately AUD $13.20), a saving of 33%.

Coming in at 835 MB, Shadow Complex is a side-scrolling shooter/platformer which has been compared to the 2D Metroid games. In the game, you infiltrate a secret underground base, all the while collecting power-ups and weapons to help you defeat legions of enemy troops and futuristic bosses. It's arguably one of the best downloadable games of the year, and is steal at this discounted price.

Please remember that all Deal of the Week specials are exclusive to Xbox Live Gold subscription holders.

It is well worth that price. It was even worth the full price. I played the hell out of it and can recommend it to anyone that enjoys side scrolling shooters or Metriod

Worms 2 was on sale for 400 points, which I picked up. I've been finding it hard to find out what has been the special every day however.

Arg thanks for the offer, unfortunately I've already headed to my girlfriends for the holidays so I'm 250kms away from my xbox icon_sad.gif. I plan on picking it up next year when I move in with the gf and get some blistering internet hooked up so I can download more games.

That can work and it will just download for that price next time you turn the console on with a live connection. Just hit me with a PM if you are interested.

given today's was a Rodney Dangerfield movie for 80MSP instead of the usual 240, i wouldn't hold my breath on the rest of those being correct.

but then, if you're eyeing one of those off, can't hurt to delay a couple of days.

Well Marvel vs Capcom 2 is 560 now and I just purchased it, so maybe those dates are US times?
