Great trailer that unfortunately says very little about the game (other than that teamwork rather than solo skills will be more important).

Looks interesting, they seem to be going for a more mature angle with this outing. The trailer is just that, a trailer, I doubt that is rendered in real time on the 360. That said, I hope they are allocating resources to the engine, Halo 3 was long in the tooth when it came out.

So it is set when the Spartans are actually Spartans, finished their training etc? I wonder if it will follow the story of the book, or be something new entirely. Obviously Reach will have to be glassed in the end though.

Decent new engine they have, even if it is pre-baked for a trailer you can see the game'll look a bit better than the horrific mess that was Halo 3. Still skeptical on running realtime though, hopefully they learn to remove jaggies as it's far more important than layers of alpha maps and bloom.

Seems like it's going to be squad based. Unless the core gameplay of Halo changes, I'm going to be disappointed in playing what may essentially be "Gears of War with Halo pacing".

That being said it's all up in the air at the moment, I'm just speculating. Hopefully they'll pull through with something much nicer than their other attempts this generation.
