"Emotionally engaging narrative is a key design pillar for BioWare, and the top-notch voice talent in Mass Effect 2 helps drive this goal," said BioWare co-founder Ray Muzyka via press statement. "Credible, powerful personalities are vital to delivering a compelling story experience in BioWare's games."
Alongside the return of Seth Green and Keith David (who will reprise their roles from the first game) Mass Effect 2 will see the vocal acting chops of Martin Sheen, Carrie-Anne Moss and such science-fiction TV veterans such as Battlestar Galactica's Tricia Helfer and Michael Hogan, Michael Dorn of Star Trek: Deep Space 9 fame, and Firefly's Adam Baldwin.
Mass Effect 2 is scheduled to grace retail outlets from 29 January 2010.
