Assassin's Creed II has healthy first week sales

360 News | Also has higher initial sales than the original.
It appears gamers have been enjoying prancing around Italy and killing corrupt locals during the past week, as Ubisoft has revealed Assassin’s Creed II has sold more than 1.6 million units.

The figure is based on internal estimates for worldwide sales numbers during the game’s first week of release. Coincidentally, it also marks a 32% growth when compared to the first week of sales of the original Assassin’s Creed, which was released in November 2007.

Assassin’s Creed II was released in Australia on November 19 2009 on Xbox 360 and PS3. A PC version was also scheduled to be released but was delayed until Q1 2010. You can check out our review by clicking here.
