I'm confused. Capcom had announced Resident Evil 5: Alternate Edition for the PS3, which would include Resident Evil 5, new missions and support for the new PS3 motion controller. That version is the one I want, and was supposed to be launching in March alongside the PS3 motion controller. Is this edition now the Gold Edition, or is Capcom just milking this game?

You'd expect that, but who knows with these companies.

I'm pretty sure Alternate Edition was announced for Japan and this Gold Edition for the English release and I'm sure their the same game cause the trailer is the exact same one they released for the Alternate Edition (apart from the Alternate Edition trailer had Japanese subtitles).
