Assassin's Creed II novelisation on the way

360 News | Due one week after the game.
Ubisoft and Penguin Books have announced they will be co-publishing a novel called Assassin’s Creed Renaissance.

As you can guess by its name, the novel will be based on the soon to be released Assassin’s Creed II. Further details are thin at the moment but the novel will be released on 26 November in the UK, less than a week after the launch of the game.

This isn’t the first time an Assassin’s Creed novelisation has been planned. In 2007 Ubisoft was planning on releasing a trilogy of novels which took place before the events of the original Assassins’ Creed game. However, the books were cancelled after the decedents of the Hashshashin, the real Assassins, objected to its publication.

Maybe some decendents of the Medicis can get this one banned too! icon_lol.gif
How ridiculous that some minority group can have so much power against freedom of speech. The novels planned originally might have been a very interesting read.
