Forza Motorsport will be available in two versions – a standard edition and limited edition. The standard edition has a suggested retail price of $99.95 and is just a copy of the game. The limited edition retails for $119.95 and includes a copy of the game, a Forza branded 2 GB USB and keychain, an exclusive car pack and a redeem code for an exclusive Forza Motorsport 3 dashboard theme.
Unfortunately it appears most retailers are having a week off as there aren’t too many specials available for either version of the game. In fact, the only stores that have the standard edition on sale are WOW - Sight and Sound who is charging $78, and JB Hi-Fi and Kmart who are both selling it for $79. Meanwhile, the limited edition can be snapped up for $99.95 at JB Hi-Fi. So, why did we bother with this round-up? Because there are a heap of bundles and trade-in deals available!
First up, you can walk out of JB Hi-Fi with a copy of the standard edition and a wireless steering wheel for $194. If you were considering jumping on the Xbox bandwagon, then Kmart and JB Hi-Fi are offering Forza 3 standard for FREE when you purchase any Xbox 360 console. Meanwhile, The Good Guys is offering an Xbox 360 Elite console with Forza 3 and a second wireless controller for just $449.
For our local trade-in junkies, JB Hi-Fi is offering the standard edition for FREE when you trade-in three Xbox 360 games – just remember to check their exclusions list (.pdf file) before heading into your local store. Finally, EB Games is offering the limited edition for $39.95 and the standard edition for $19.95 when you trade-in two eligible titles.
