Splinter Cell Conviction gets dated

360 News | February 2010 gets stealthy. UPDATE: Australian date included.
Fresh off the floor of the Tokyo Games Show comes the news that after several delays and reconstructions, Sam Fisher's next adventure, Splinter Cell Conviction will be heading into living rooms everywhere in February 2010.

Ubisoft confirms that North America will get the first taste of the stealthy action with the game releasing there on 23 February, with a release to PAL territories coming on 26 February. Here's hoping that the date sticks this time.

UPDATE: This morning, Ubisoft has sent word that the Australian release date will be 25 February 2010, one day before the European release.

I'm really excited about this one. A lot of positivity around what people have seen - hopefully the re-start they had really gave them a chance to do it right. Would hate to see this series die from lack of ambition.
