Flight of the Conchords coming to Rock Band?

360 Rumour | Maybe.
If red carpet hijinx at the Emmy awards are to be believed, the comedy duo of Bret McKenzie and Jermaine Clement from the hit comedy show Flight of the Conchords may very well be headed to your favourite gaming console by the way of downloadable content for Rock Band.

While the reports remain unconfirmed by Harmonix at this time, the cheeky pair have spoken out when approached by an interviewer on the Emmy's red carpet.

McKenzie is the main culprit behind the rumour, devulging on air: "You know what? There's going to be three songs on Rock Band. I'm serious." With Clement quickly quipping "That's serious" while grinning down the barrel of the cameras.

While it may be nothing more than a clever ruse, Flight of the Conchords fans can only lie in wonder at the possibility of jamming along to the hilarious ditties "Business Time" and "Leggy Blonde."

Yeah, we know you only like axe-grinding, blood-spitting metal, but the sooner you accept that there are other musical genres (and that shock-horror, they are actually quite good), the more tolerable you'll be. You don't have to chuck a sad whenever rockband/guitarhero dlc is announced that isn't metal, as it's probably going to happen an aweful lot.

Personally, I'm psyched for this if its true...
