Skate 3 announced

360 News | Well, that was quick.
EA Games has announced via a press release that Skate 3 is in development for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, and will be shipped in May 2010.

Apparently the game will have a new focus on co-op play. Players will be able to create and build their own skating team, or team up with their online friends and complete challenges together while advancing each other's careers. There will be an all-new skate.School mode which allows players to practise their tricks, as well as a beefed up Hall of Meat mode. User created content will also be expanded on with the new skate.Create mode where you can design your own graphics, videos and skate parks.

Further details will be revealed shortly. Until then, you can check out the announcement trailer below.

looks like ass..... Skate 2 pissed me off as it was far too forgiving but the things you had to do for people in-game weren't explained fully...

There are arrows pointing at the specific object you had to do the challenge on... How much more would you want?
