Xbox Live Deal of the Week - 10/08/09

360 News | Build your ultimate soccer team.
It's Monday (or early Tuesday morning for Australians) again, which means a new Deal of the Week has started on the Xbox Live Marketplace. This week, FIFA 09's Ultimate Team Game Add-On has been reduced to 400 Microsoft Points, a saving of 50%.

Coming in at 2GB, the add-on allows players to collect virtual cards that can assign different players, staff, contracts, formations and tactics in your very own dream soccer team. The mode can be played both online and off, and adds a new layer of strategy to the standard FIFA 09 game. Please note the add-on actually downloads as a demo that lets you play five trial games. After you have completed the trials, you will be prompted to make a full purchase.

Please remember that all Deal of the Week specials are exclusive to Xbox Live Gold subscription holders.

According to www.ecogamer.com, apparently the pack is listed as free? Sneaky.

"The FIFA 09 Ultimate Team download is half price, coming to 400MS points. Please note that this download is listed as free as it contains a trail period allowing for 5 free games. Afterwards you will be prompted to pay to continue using the add on."
