Fallout 3 Mothership Zeta released

360 News | The truth is out there.
Fallout 3 fans will be pleased to know that the latest DLC for the game, 'Mothership Zeta' has just been released on the Xbox Live Marketplace, for 800 Points.

This latest expansion pack sees your character beamed aboard an alien spacecraft and forced to fight his way to the ship's bridge to escape. There are new characters, new costumes and new weapons, including the Alien Atomiser, Alien Disintegrator and Drone Cannon.

The 'Mothership Zeta' DLC is available for PC and Xbox 360, and will later be available for PlayStation 3 after the previous packs have been released later this year.

Can someone please tell me how the steam support for this game works? I bought the game on steam thinking updates and DLC would become easier to manage. I just can't find anyway to actually download and install them. (without using underhanded sources)

Steam doesn't download the dlc for fallout I don't think. Its done through games for windows live, you need to log into to it in game and follow the links from there.

and yea games for windows live is pretty crap.

You should have got a GFW code with your copy of Fallout 3. You need to install and setup GFW and download the DLC through that, you can still have steam running at the same time and chat to your friends etc but in order to use the DLC you need the GFW account active.

I picked up the DLC last night through GFW, no issues so far, so Bethesda seem to have got this one right :)

I wish we didn't have to wait so long for the DLC to come to the ps3, I would prefer to be using PSN than GFW. But the pc version does have the advantage of the community mods icon_smile.gif

Thanks for the help. Really didn't spend that much time looking into it but thought that a steam delivered game would have been fully supported by Steam. Bethesda trying to saving on some fees I guess.

And it's a FPS. PC wins hands down.
