More F.E.A.R. 2 DLC on the way

360 News | More single-player fun coming in August.
According to an IGN interview with the development team at Monolith, there will be a fresh pack of downloadable content for F.E.A.R. 2 next month.

This DLC comes in the form new single-player campaign dubbed "Reborn". Reborn will consist of a number of levels that are equal to the length of those currently in the game. The campaign will see players take on the role of replica soldier foxtrot 813 as they fight their way through this new addition.

The PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 are confirmed to receive the new content, with Monolith also confirming that this DLC will contain new achievement and trophy support. There is currently no word on a PC release for this DLC, though Monolith eventually brought out the previous DLC packs to PC gamers in the form of free patches.

Too bad I got rid of the game. But seeing as I got a full refund when I did, I could buy it again for cheaper.

I already wished I didn't get rid of it and this gives me a good reason to buy it again.

Wow, this is the last game I would've expected to get (edit- single player -edit) DLC. Psyched for more. Am I the only one that kinda feels like Fear 2 didn't get the credit it deserved?

Don't care till they drop FEAR 2 down to a reasonable price on steam, US$60 is a bloody rip-off.

Edit: Oh sweet the steam weekend deal is up and it's all the DoW and Company of Heroes games icon_biggrin.gif. Finally DoW2 is worth buying icon_smile.gif. FEAR 2 needs a weekend deal like Dow2 did.
