Madballs for XBLA tonight

Microsoft has announced that the rather awkwardly-titled Madballs in... Babo Invasion will be hitting the Xbox Live Arcade late tonight.

The game will be based on 80s Madballs toys, which are, apparently, quite mad. Players can play as their own avatar as they attempt to gain Madball supremacy, either against the computer, or other players, be it online or off. It seems to be pricey though, coming in at 1200 MS points. Still, there are apparently five combat modes available, plus 21 maps, if that makes you feel any better about it.

The Secret of Monkey Island: Special Edition is the other game due to arrive on the Arcade tonight - but you already knew that. If you didn't though, expect to see a rather severe makeover of the classic adventure game - all for the price of 800 MS points.

Having played through tales of monkey island ep1, a remake of the secret of monkey island is an absolute treat, i'll be staying up late tonight 4 sure.
