KoF '98 and Worms for XBLA tomorrow

360 News | Violence for all.
Microsoft has announced that this week's brand new Xbox Live Arcade games will be King of Fighters '98 Ultimate Match and Worms 2: Armageddon.

KoF '98 is a 2D beat 'em up that was first released in Japan in - get this - 1998. The Ultimate Match update surfaced in Japanese arcades and on the PlayStation 2 last year, adding new characters and a new fighting style, as well as other upgrades here and there. Of course, online matches are all the rage here.

Worms 2: Armageddon first saw the light of day way back in the late 90s on the PC. In the game, players take command of a whole host of worms, as they attempt to kill other worms. Deep. Apparently, this upgrade adds new peoples, HD landscapes, new play modes as well as a bunch of other new stuff. Sounds like a must for Worms fans, then.

Both games will arrive tomorrow and will cost 800 MS points each.

Armageddon will be mine! I love that game. Everything from the challenges, to training, to just random games with complete strangers that end in airstrikes and kamikazes.

The censors. I hate them all. Most KOF games released outside of Japan don't have her breasts moving.

I feel kind of dirty for knowing that.

Just a note, Worms 2: Armageddon is not actually a port of the PC game Worms Armageddon. It is a sequel to the Worms already on XBLA.
