According to Eurogamer, Serious Sam HD will 're-imagine' the first game in the series, adding in online co-operative modes for up to four people and shiny new HD graphics. Combine that with the sheer number of enemies that the series is known for, and things might get a tiny bit hectic. There will be twelve Eygptian-themed levels to blast through.
The game first appeared on the PC in 2001, and quickly gained a cult following. Serious Sam II followed in 2005 on the PC and Xbox, with Serious Sam III and Serious Sam Forever in development as we speak.
Serious Sam HD is scheduled for a release towards the end of Q3 this year. It will come at a cost of 1200 MS points.
