EA Games reveals new features for Tiger Woods PGA Tour 10

EA Games has announced today via a press release some of the new features that golfing fans can look forward to in the upcoming Tiger Woods PGA Tour 10.

According to EA, the Xbox 360, PS3 and Wii versions will feature an all-new EA Sports Live Tournament mode. The mode will allow players to participate in online tournaments which are spread across three categories: Daily, Weekly and Play the Pros. The Daily and Weekly categories see players play in tournaments and post their scores on leaderboards. Play the Pros is an extension of this, and lets you compare your scores against real life PGA Tour golfers during actual professional effects. Additionally, the real life golfers Anthony Kim and Rocco Mediate will join the cast of playable characters for the first time in the series.

Exclusive to the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions is Practice Round. This mode lets players walk on any course prior to a tournament and practice playing from any particular spot. Players can also practice their shot-making skills through Club Tuner, which can be accessed directly through this mode.

Tiger Woods PGA Tour 10 is scheduled to be released in Europe on 16 June and in Australia on 18 June on the Wii, PS3, Xbox 360, PS3 and PSP systems. You can check out some new screenshots from the Xbox 360 and PS3 version in the media panel below.
