Franz Ferdinand cued up for Rock Band next week

360 News | Lucky, lucky, you're so lucky.
Harmonix has unveiled the next ten tracks that will be coming to the Rock Band store this week. Heading up the new additions is Scottish rockers, Franz Ferdinand who will be contributing three tracks to the store, including their signature tune 'Take Me Out.' Also joining Franz this week is music from other popular artists, The Allman Brothers Band, Prong, The Distillers, Alien Ant Farm and Luscious Jackson.

The full list of tracks can be seen below:

  • Franz Ferdinand - Take Me Out
  • Franz Ferdinand - Do You Want To
  • Franz Ferdinand - Lucid Dreams
  • Alien Ant Farm - Smooth Criminal
  • The Allman Brothers Band - Blue Sky
  • The Allman Brothers Band - Midnight Rider
  • The Distillers - Drain the Blood
  • Luscious Jackson - Naked Eye
  • Prong - Idealistic Types
  • Prong - The Banishment


Each tune will cost you 160 Microsoft Points (approximately AUD $2.70), while the Franz Ferdinand 3-track pack will set you back 440 Micorsoft Points (approximately AUD $7.50).

As per the usual schedule these latest additions to the Rock Band store will arrive on Tuesday (5 May 2009) for Xbox 360 users, while PlayStation 3 owners will have to wait until next Thursday (7 May 2009) to set their frets on fire.

Trust me, Rock Band is more fun. My friend the other day said he wanted to buy Rock Band (he was GHWT) because the drumming is so much more fun.

Looks like Queen signed a deal with Activision.

At least Rock Band has The Who, Rush, Beatles and plenty of other talent that kicks arse. icon_razz.gif
