Next week's Rock Band DLC revealed

360 News | Styx and REO Speedwagon highlight latest batch of DLC.
Harmonix has announced that legendary rockers Styx and REO Speedwagon will be bringing more tunes to the Rock Band catalogue next week to help celebrate their upcoming collarborative tour of the United States. Rounding out the latest content is a song pack from prog rockers Hautewerk.

The REO Speedwagon / Styx Tour ’09 Pack includes three classic tracks from each band, as well as the brand-new collaborative song titled Can't Stop Rockin'.

In addition to the seven song REO Speedwagon / Styx track pack, Hautewerk will be making their Rock Band debut next week with three tracks from their 2006 debut album Stop Start Again.

Each track is a master recording and will set you back 160 Microsoft Points (approx. AUD $2.75) or they can be purchased in a bundle with the REO Speedwagon / Styx Tour ’09 pack priced at 880 Microsoft Points (approx. AUD $15.25) and the Hautewerk Pack 01 costing 440 Microsoft Points (approx. AUD $7.60).

These latest track packs will be hitting the Rock Band Music Store on the Xbox Live Marketplace from Tuesday April 21 and the PlayStation Store on Thursday April 23.

Rock band is proving to be much better value then gutar hero in the ongoing content delivery department - bring on out rock band 2 release please so I can join the party with equipment i hace more confidence in.

Agree though - didnt download pearl jam, won't be getting guns and roses or metallica

I understand some of the gripes here, but in saying that, why buy a game called Rock Band if you're not a fan of Metallica, Pearl Jam and Guns N Roses, possibly three of the biggest rock bands in history?

In saying that, I'm 30 and I don't know who these bands are icon_smile.gif

Styx made that Domo Arigato Mr Roboto song.

that's about all i know of them. pretty metal sounding name for someone who made Mr Roboto...
