Fable 2 DLC detailed

360 News | New quests, new items and a Colosseum.
Lionhead has revealed the first real details about the second piece of Fable 2 downloadable content, titled See the Future.

The ever-talkative Lionhead boss Peter Molyneux revealed the existence of the DLC last week, but wasn't kind enough to tell us any information other than the title. We now know that the content will focus on Murgo the Trader's (he was first encountered at the start of Fable 2) three cursed items, which, shockingly, could result in the end of Albion. There will also be some new quests to undertake, one of which will have something to do with a town trapped inside of a snow globe.

One of the more intriguing bits of the new content is the Colosseum arena, which will apparently be a significant improvement over the Crucible tournament from the core game. Murgo the Trader will also be selling items other than cursed ones, which Lionhead promises will be rather exotic and exciting.

There will also be a whole host of new bits and pieces, including additional hairstyles, clothes, tricks, expressions and more.

See the Future will be released at some stage in May, at a rather unusual cost of 560 MS points. Fable 2 was released last year and, while it's not perfect, it is not without its charm.

Interesting cost for a DLC. Like ANDYBALLINA, I too haven't got the first one yet. But yeah, I never really liked the Crucible that much though...
