Fallout 3 DLC re-released yet again

360 News | Take 3.
Following numerous complaints of freezing issues, Bethesda has again re-released 'The Pitt,' the latest batch of DLC for the post-apocalyptic title Fallout 3 on the Xbox 360. This move comes after the DLC was initially pulled from the Xbox Live Marketplace due to corrupt data.

Bethesda's blog advises gamers that "If you haven't experienced any issues with freezing, there's no need to re-download."

But for those of you that need to delete the DLC, instructions on how to delete the previous content for The Pitt are as follows (thanks to Xbox Live programming director Larry "Major Nelson" Hryb):

  • Sign in to Xbox LIVE then press the guide button
  • Go to Settings->System Settings->Memory.
  • From here, scroll down to Fallout 3 and press A.
  • Select Fallout 3: The Pitt (Marketplace Content) press A then choose Delete, then Yes to Delete.

Far from fair for those who paid for it and have to waste their monthly quota to get it 3 times. They should offer a refund for those who get the problem twice.

Cry me a river!

I'm guessing that haven't done anything to fix any issues regarding the PC version of the addon?
Half the time I try and use my Autoaxe in first person it's invisible and I just see my hands :/

I think Australia is one of the only countries in the world that still have download quotas on broadband plans, I doubt its something developers really care too much about.

Glad I'm waiting until the third one comes out before I bother getting all the DLC and playing the game over again...

Yep that is true, I was referring to the context of our country. In terms of video games barely anyone cares for us lol.

Really, in this day and age these issues should be fixed before release. This is just another example of how sloppy and lazy Bethesda are.

It happens with all their games. Look at Oblivion, full of bugs, though that game is crap with or without the issues.

The 2nd uploaded one worked fine for me. Admittedly, there was a couple of bugs (getting stuck in 3rd person for example) but they were nothing that stopped me playing and finishing the DLC.

Hopefully, Broken Steel doesn't suffer this nonsense.

Argh! I have already downloaded this twice and now they have stuffed up again? I have only played about halfway through the DLC and so far my only error is not being able to go 3rd person, not enough to redownload it on my 5gb a month limit >_>.
