Saints Row 2 DLC on the way

360 News | Three slices, first one this month.
Developer Volition has said that sandbox adventure Saints Row 2 will be receiving three pieces of downloadable content, with the first arriving this month.

Dubbed Ultor Exposed, the content will add three new missions to the game, which can be accessed at anytime. There will also be some new weapons, new guns, a new co-op game mode and the ability to have porn star Tera Patrick as a 'homie'. Five new achievements worth 125 points will also be included.

The pack will be released on the 16th of April, and come at a cost of 800 MS points, or USD $10 on the PlayStation network.

No information surrounding the other pieces of DLC has surfaced as of yet.

Saints Row 2 was released in October last year, and, while it doesn't have the production values of GTA IV, it's still damn good fun.

Awesome, I'm really looking forward to this DLC. According to an interview on IGN, the missions are a lot lengthier too (apparently it'll take a couple hours), but I'll believe it when I see it. Still, SR2 rocked, and I'm just about ready for another playthrough, so this is coming at the right time for me. Hopefully they'll add trophies in the PS3 version too.

I'll definitely be getting this when it's released. I enjoyed the SR2 main story and can't wait to get stuck into some more SR2 goodness. Now if only Rockstar and THQ could come to some major deal and have a "GTA vs SR" game icon_lol.gif

Screw production values.GTAIV great production values=boring game.

SR2 rather crap production values+=insane unadulterated wacky fun.
