The Dishwasher first surfaced in 2007, as the winner of Microsoft's 2007 Dream Build Play competition. As you'd expect, the game has improved drastically since then, with the most notable change being the increase in production values.
The game is a 2D beat-'em-up romp, where players take control of, uh, a dead samurai dishwasher, and attempt to fight off an army of cyborgs. The game uses a slick 2D comic book presentation to tell the game's story as well.
There's also co-operative play, where a second player can join the action with a guitar peripheral. Creative.
The Dishwasher: Dead Samurai should be available to download Wednesday night, at the cost of 800 MS points.
