G-Force revealed

360 News | Not quite the G-something we had in mind...
Disney Interactive Studios has announced they will be releasing a videogame tie-in for the upcoming Disney CG film G-Force.

G-Force follows the story of a group of guinea pigs who are part of a government program that is designed to train animals in espionage. When the guinea pigs discover the fate of the world is in their paws, they equip themselves with weaponry and gadgets and set out for a wacky adventure.

According to Disney Interactive, the videogame takes place after the film and expands on the G-Force universe with new enemies, weapons and missions. Players will take control of Darwin, the G-Force team leader, and Mooch, the housefly surveillance commando, who are both primary characters in the film. Together, the duo team up with the other members of G-Force to solve puzzles and fight enemies, including evil household appliances, such as waffle irons, water coolers and, of course, the deadly vacuum cleaner.

G-Force is scheduled to be released in July this year on the Wii, Nintendo DS, Xbox 360, PlayStation 2, PlayStation 3, PSP and PC. You can check out some screenshots in the media panel.

This seems like the last type of game you would want to release on PSP and not on DS...

If the DS version turns out like the (actually not to shabby) over the hedge on DS (not the squirrel sequel)it could be interesting.

Duh. Of course the DS version will look "worse" than the (presumably 360 or PS3 version) screenshots.
