More Fable 2 content coming soon

360 News | See the Future.
The second helping of downloadable content for Fable 2, dubbed See the Future, will be arriving in just a matter of weeks, according to Lionhead bigwig Peter Molyneux.

"The next DLC comes out in the spring," Molyneux told Kotaku. "We're in the spring now [in the US, obviously] so don't think months, think more like weeks. It's called See the Future."

"The first [DLC, Knothole Island] was done very close to Fable 2 and the team was tired and we sort of pushed ourselves to get something out early for the fans. This time we've taken a little bit more time on it, it's a little bit more story driven.

"If you're a real fan of Fable, it answers some of those questions. It's going to test you a little bit emotionally as well. But I think the real unique thing here is it starts to tease and hint at what it starting to happen in the world of Albion and what is happening in the future."

Molyneux also hinted at the existence of Fable 3, which was accidently exposed by a BBC personality earlier this month.

"If you play See the Future you're going to be getting a flavor at what's going to be happening. My ideal [of] what I would want to happen is something big."

It always is, Peter.

Ah, like the words of a prophet, things always seem grander than reality when spoken by Mr Molyneux.

God help us all.

I wonder if this one will come with more then an hours worth extra gameplay.

while it's true Knothole Island was incredibly short, personally i thought it was a more cohesive and enjoyable experience than the rest of the game was.

if the next DLC offers that, then i'll probably buy it. (some additional length wouldn't go astray, i don't deny, but yeah, i enjoyed KHI).
