Bethesda fixing broken Fallout 3 DLC

360 News | The Pitt should be good to go by tomorrow.
Bethesda is hard at work on fixing the latest piece of Fallout 3 DLC, titled The Pitt, and believes that it should be available to download on Xbox Live at some point tonight.

The Pitt was released yesterday, but the Xbox 360 version was, for a lack of a better word, completely broken, with giant floating exclamation marks everywhere. Unsurprisingly, freezes were also reported, along with other issues here and there. As a result, the content was pulled from the Marketplace shortly after it was released.

"We are continuing to look into the issues people are experiencing with The Pitt for Xbox 360," said the company's blog yesterday. "As of now it looks like the file for the English version on Xbox Live was somehow corrupted. We are currently working with Microsoft to remove the existing file off of Live to prevent any further downloads. Our plan is to replace it with a new file as soon as possible. We hope to have another update for you shortly."

The blog has since been updated, with the development team doing one final bug test before the content is re-released tonight.

The Pitt seems to feature a decent amount of content for its 800 MS points pricetag. Expect to encounter various new enemies in an abandoned steel yard, as well as a raider infiltration mission to participate in.

I must admit I haven't been following the DLC for Fallout 3 on XBox360, so I was wondering if - or when - the level cap will be removed? Does anyone have any definate info on this?

^ the next DLC (called Broken Steel, iirc) has the cap raised to 30.
