Scheduled for a release on the 24th of March, the new patch mainly deals with the multiplayer element of the game, adding a modified ranking system based on experience points with the aim being to make leveling up more transparent to the player. The TrueSkill system will still remain though, if only behind the scenes. The patch will also address some balancing issues, such as adding bots to an online match when a player drops out, and making sure all multiplayer modes offer the same amount of experience points to the player.
One week later, on March the 31st, the new Snowblind map pack will be released. The four maps included in the map include Grindyard (the successor to the first game's Gridlock), Under Hill, Courtyard, and a remake of Fuel Depot. No price has been revealed as of yet.
