Call of Duty: World at War DLC on the way

360 News | Four new multiplayer maps to keep those guns smoking.
Activision sent out a press release today announcing they’ll be releasing a map pack for Call of Duty: World at War in March this year.

The pack will be available to download for the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC versions of the game, and will include four brand new multiplayer maps. The maps include ‘Nightfire’ which is set in the war-ravaged streets of Berlin, ‘Station’ which features an underground train station full of hidden passageways and destroyed subway cars, and ‘Knee Deep’ which takes players to a village on the island of Peleliu. The fourth and final map is designed specifically for the popular Nazi Zombies Bonus Mode. Dubbed 'Verrückt (Zombie Asylum)', the map will apparently feature more weapons, more Perks-a-Cola machines, electroshock defences and, of course, endless hordes of zombies to kill.

Pricing has yet to be revealed, though Activision were kind enough to release a lone screenshot of the Nightfire map, which can be found in the media panel below.

Although I'm looking forward to some new maps, what I'd really like is the return of the Public Player matches. I wanna choose my map - and longer games for that matter. It's too hard to get good private matches going on a regular basis.

Death to ten minute matches on random maps...it's like fast food gaming. The COD series is going to get pretty tiring if the devs continue to deny players a choice of how they'd like to play.
