I am really looking forward to this game!

it would be really cool if Master Chief would be an unlockable "hero" character easter egg in this game along with the Arbriter

Cant wait to get my hands on this game ...

The game looks great.

The only thing that may bring it down is the control scheme. And bugs that occur in every RTS where buildings or troops are uneven in strengths and speed.

the demo is up now.

kinda.

it's on the web browser version of Marketplace, which you can click to download, but it then times out. if you can get it to the "already purchased" status, go into the download history of your XBox and you can re-download it from there no dramas.
it'll probably be all working fine and dandy by the time you easterners get up again anyway, but for you night-owls, enjoy!

this is very much a game i'm fence-sitting over, so the demo is a must-try.

Cheers, ObsoletE, I've been watching this all day to see when it would be released... Based on what I've seen, and my fondness for the Halo franchise, I see this as something I'll buy on launch, however the demo really will be the ultimate test as to whether this is a great concept or a great game.

yeah i was kinda waiting for it too, since being an RTS, i'm kinda turned off because it's on console, but given it's specifically built for console, the usual control issues might be overcome.

but yeah, had some fun and games getting it. i saw it added to marketplace about 7:30 (at 1.00GB) but then it didn't queue, and checking active downloads didn't show anything, and then it disappeared from marketplace.

but then Benc82 said it was up on the browser marketplace, but would timeout before being queued, and then after checking the XBox forums, someone there said about the download history, and voila! it worked. (but now, mysteriously, at a size of 1.40GB)

so yeah, interested to see if this will change my mind on console RTSs, kinda like it's forefather wrt console FPSs, or if one genre revolution is all this franchise can handle.
