Skate 2 and Skate It soundtracks revealed

360 News | Grab some air with 52 tracks.
EA Games have revealed the final track list for their upcoming skateboarding sims Skate 2 and Skate It. Skate 2 for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 will feature a total of 52 tracks from artists including Public Enemy, China Creeps and Wu-Tang Clan. Skate It for the Wii unfortunately won’t feature such a robust soundtrack, instead having to settle for 19 tracks.

Skate 2 is scheduled to be released in early 2009, while Skate It should be in stores in time for Christmas this year. Tracks marked with an asterisk (*) will be included in Skate It.

Baffling that Skate It features less than half the tracks of Skate 2. It's not like the THPS2 days where the tracks had to be cut down due to the cartridge size, both games come on the same size format.

Some decent songs on the soundtrack though.

Why would it come on CD!? Wii uses dual layered DVDs *confuzzled*

Capacity
GCN 80mm: 1.5 GB
Wii 120mm: 4.7 GB (8.54 GB dual layer)
Maybe there's only 19 songs on the DS version due to cartridge limits..?

They probably decided against using a dual layer DVD on wii considering how cheap ea seams to be =/

Dragonforce - Heroes Of Our Time
Look, I don't mind Dragonforce for listening and stuff, but seriously, a skating game?

This is like, "Avril Lavigne-in-Burnout" levels of lunacy.

Edit: No Bodom in the second game is a tad disappointing, though.

Meh, I'll do what I did with the first one, get my own music cranking (311, Bullet for my Valentine and Zebrahead are my usual favourites for skating).
