22 days to win 22 Gears of War prizes

360 News | Microsoft's evidently keen on the number '22'.
Microsoft announced today via press release that over the next 22 days, they will be giving out over two million Microsoft points across 22 prizes given to lucky Gears of Wars players who take part in their new '22 Days of Mayhem' campaign. The promotion will run from 17th October to the release of Gears of War 2 on 7th November.

Every day until the end of the promotion, one lucky player of Gears of War's multi-player modes will receive 100,000 Microsoft points and a signed poster by Cliff Bleszinski, the design director of Gears of War 2. Fans who play 22 games of Gears of War from today until the end of the promotion will enter the major prize draw for an Xbox 360-themed UTE, as well as some Gears of War 2 artwork from Epic Games. Andrew Jenkins, product marketing manager for Microsoft explains that, “We know Australian gamers love to play Gears of War and we want to reward fans who are playing the game in anticipation of the upcoming sequel.”

I thought to myself, who in their right mind would want a poster of Cliff Belszinski? icon_dumb.gif

And then I realized my mistake.

I don't know how Cliff manages to direct the design, he spends so much time spinning PR and getting his makeup done that he must not sleep.

for people that want more details:

you must have a gold account (obviously...)
you must play at least 22 games over the time period, playing at least 1 game per day
you must submit the answer to one of those '25 words or less' questions HERE:
