When they announced it - they called it an Action RPG -

However This looks so Freakin Awesome, I will be getting this - hopefully will give me my RPG fix till FF 13 is released next year ....

Sounds like I'll be going against the trend, I'd rather it was turn based, realtime action games just wreck any kind of challenge since games need to be accessable to newer players and accessable == far too easy for me

Is this a Square or Enix developed game? Enix have a great real time battle system built from Star Ocean 3 (and Infinite Undescovery too I've heard) so as long as they keep that in mind with this one it'll be a decent setup.
