Samurai Shodown II, also released on the Wii's virtual console last month, is a port of the mid 90's arcade beat 'em up, which saw a cast of samurais whack each other really hard with swords and other weapons. Disappointingly, there doesn't seem to be any mention of online multiplayer on the game's official page. If you want it, it comes at the rather reasonable price of 400MS points.
There's also Rocket Bowl, which, funnily enough, is bowling, but with rocket powered balls. It also sports a '50s style retro-futuristic vibe'. Obviously. The balls can also boost and jump, in order to cause maximum carnage against the evil pins. There's ten different courses to take on, as well as mini-games and both local and online multiplayer. Rocket Bowl is a bit more expensive than the last one, coming in at 800MS points.
Finally, there's Shotest Shogi, yet another computerised version of the ancient Japanese game - it's a bit like chess, if you've never heard of it. Thankfully, this game comes with a full tutorial, before throwing you into the deep end against sixteen opponents of varying skill levels. Again, online multiplayer is an option. If you're just desperate for a shogi fix, Shotest Shogi is worth 800MS points.
As usual, they will all be available come Wednesday.
