Sorry, But I will never trust another sonic game.

But will you rent it? I probably will.

I was going to make a joke about how Sonic Team have monopolised the rental market by making games that no one wants to buy.

But I only want to rent this game.

I think I'll save that joke for later.

Why is it that the GBA and DS Sonic games are the only ones to get even halfway decent reviews?

It seems like the better the technology Sonic Team have access to, the worse their games get.

Kinda reminds me of George Lucas in that respect.

Man seriously, **** this game. It was looking so good, and I don't mean better then Sonic Adventure, I mean like really **** good. And then they bring in this stupid werewolf ****? How hard is it for Sega to understand that in a sonic game we want to be running really fast? I mean it's not that difficult of a concept. I don't remember the game suddenly changing to a sidescrolling beatem up in Sonic 3, why do they think it's a good idea now?

Yeah, I was really liking this game until the whole transformation thing popped up, then I remembered who it was that was making the game. *facepalm*

I'm pretty sure you have the option of skipping the werehog stages.

Actually, I think the system has to do with time. Each stage has a daytime and a nighttime. During the night, Sonic turns into his werehog form, while during the day he's the blue blur we all know and love. I *think* players can control the time of day, so if you hate the werehog bits you can just skip to daytime. Also, there are a bunch of side quests you can skip or do to your heart's content.

From what I've read Sega are giving a lot of options to players, so wait for the first reviews before passing judgement. Look at Twilight Princess on Wii. I recall people being upset over Link transforming into a wolf, but the end result turned out excellently.

The diffrence is Zelda games have a history of being awsome, Sonic games have a history of being arse. If the sonic games had a pedigree of the same quality as Zelda has had I'd be far more forgiving.
