Wow.

I remember when a game was 400 for arcade, and 800 for new.

This is getting stupid. I know 1200 points isnt that big, but if games keep coming out like this, this is gonna become like how Australians prices did.

People pay $120 for limited editions. Producers knew people would pay $120 for a game so they raised the RRP. Now games like Braid release for 1200 (because the guy was broke) points, it sold, now other games will follow.

Sorry, but I'm kinda reluctant to pay 1200 points for it. It'll be 800 points for arcade (shown through Geo Wars 2) and new games 1200.

Argh, sorry for small rant, but its annoying.

Low price? Behemoth's other game is like 400 points now.

I remember about a year ago when I still had my 360, I was so hyped for this game. That's a ridiculous price. It would work out to about $25, which is like 1/3 of a retail game. Ridiculous.

I reckon it should be 400 points lower in the first week - encourages early adopters, while still giving the creator the chance to earn a little more. But yep, an extra 400 pts probably loses them more than 33% sales, so less profit overall. Fools.

More price whinging? If you want every game to have the content of the early XBLA games then they might stay at 400/800 points. I want bigger and better games to come out on XBLA, and for that I'm willing to pay an extra $6 sometimes. If you want shovelware and ports I'm sure they'll be along for 800 points or less.

No, it's about $19. This is what games on Steam usually cost, is that ridiculous?

How is 1200 points unreasonable? To put things into perspective, two other 1200 point games (Lumines and Puzzle Quest) have both retailed on other consoles for more than double the XBLA price.

Anyone who has played those two will agree that they offer more value than most other XBLA games. In most cases, you get what you pay for - and $20 isn't much of an ask, honestly.

Go go Castle Crasher defense force!

$20 for all the content in this is great. Just look through the most recent purchases thread and you all probably spend more than $20 on some terrible game but that was fine because its on a disc.

Oh yeah, it sets a precedent for more games to be that price, wah wah. If it means all those games are high quality, then bring it on. As EvilHayama said, if you want 400 point games, fine, have fun playing Shrek and Roll 2.

Dont worry, I was still going to get it. I cannot leave Team No Jibbs icon_wink.gif

I don't see how this is that much of a rip-off...

However, i won't be getting.
Because that would cost me >$250.
It's almost worth it.
