I loved this game as soon as I saw a dude stand on the seat of his quad and start playing air guitar while flying through the air at 100ks per hour.

Expect to be blown away by the visuals, gameplay & fun factor. Pure is the COD4 of arcade racing games for 2008.

Want something more than just a racing game? Pure is for you & online just cranks up the intensity 10 fold.

I am still not sure about this game - hopefully it will lean towards more of a Motorstorm type game than MX/ATV... is there any talk about a demo on LIVE or PSN??

Pure will sell itself, it's that type of game. Try the demo when its out & make your own decision.

Saying it's the COD4 of arcade racing games is a big call. You expect it to top Race Driver: Grid? Here's hoping since Grid is gold and another top notch racing game will make us spoilt little boys indeed!

And how is it more than a racing game? Do you do anything other than get in/on vehicles and try to finish first? I wouldn't mind getting to the podium at the end of the race and breaking out into song using my Singstar mic for all the fans to cringe at.

Not dissing the game, it looks good. But these are some pretty big calls. And I've never been a fan of marketing drivel.

GRID is all class, I have it on the PS3 & can't praise the game enough.

Pure offers so much more than just pt A-B racing with the fundamental difference being the introduction of a trick system. You now have to think in 3 dimensions & decide when/when not to use your acquired boost juice. Pure is all about:

1. 80+ trick system / character + special trick

2. Performing tricks earns you boost juice.

3. Build Your Ride - from the ground-up i.e. choose your frame & go from there!! Race your built ATV off & online, no two bikes will look the same!

4. Multiple routes to the finish line, some only accessible through boost jumping which introduces "risk vs reward" element into the game.

5. There's nothing like playing online with 15 other mates & seeing them busting tricks in the air with you & the alternate routes just add to the excitement because one minute your mates maybe right beside you & the next they're gone, only to surprise you or be jumping over you further down the course.

6. Awesome licensed sound track featuring...well lets just say us Ozzies are well represented :)

As a gamer who has played both, Pure IS the COD4 of arcade racing games. It delivers the complete package & sets the bench mark for visual presentation. Pure is "pure" fun & you'll know exactly what I mean when you play the demo.

Alright Kashmere. Sounds pretty good!
I was already keen on the demo coming out and giving the game a whirl anyway, but hearing the features makes it sound a little better!
