UT3 Gears of War 'surprise' revealed

360 News | 360 version to include exclusive video.

Back in April, Epic Games' Vice President Mark Rein stated that the Xbox 360 version of Unreal Tournament 3 would include a "Gears of War 2 related surprise". Speaking with TeamXbox, Rein has confirmed that the 360 UT3 disc will indeed feature exclusive Gears of War 2 video content.

"Yes there is a great video, narrated by CliffyB and Rod Fergusson, that gives a detailed overview of Gears 2 multiplayer and reveals some cool stuff. The video is exclusive to UT3 360," Rein told TeamXbox. "We think of it as a nice little bonus for the folks who buy UT3 360 which is an awesome multiplayer game in its own right."

Unreal Tournament 3 is currently available on PC and PlayStation 3, while Xbox 360 owners can get their hands on the game (and the exclusive Gears video) early next month. Click here for our thoughts on the 360 UT3.

I hated UT3 on PS3 so i definately wont be getting this. GoW2 however.. that will be awesome!!

Worst exclusive 'secret' content ever. It's a trailer. You've got to be kidding me.

And people criticised Crackdown for including the Halo 3 BETA haha..

I was expecting a lot more than this, like some playable GoW2 characters or maybe a short demo or something.

A trailer is a bit of a joke, especially when it was announced as a super amazing secret bonus.

Though it might sound like preaching on my end, just stick to the PC version of UT3, and it's optimized to run on lower end systems anyway.

The reason I say so is because of the modding community. I have Master Chief, Old Snake and Marcus Fenix as playable models. That > the ports by a mile.

And the PS3 version is completely inferior once you play the PC. 30% slower is TERRIBLE.

I have the PC version (which is awesome) but Im thinking about getting the 360 version because I can't get my girlfriend off the computer at night. F*** you myspace/msn!

I remember having to go through that when the Sims 2 was released. Now I hate the Sims.
