Ubidays 08: More details revealed on Shaun White Snowboarding

360 News | Along with fresh snaps.
Ubisoft has revealed some more details on the recently announced Shaun White Snowboarding. Aside from the fact that the game will be coming to the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, a Wii version is also in development which will utilise the balance board.

The game will feature completely open world mountains, so there will be extreme peak conditions, the ability to create your own paths in the back country and the ability to compete with fellow riders in the terrain parks. Your friends will be able to snowboard around you as well, which sounds like great feature.

Apparantly the game will also include "more than just snowboarding". You'll be able to throw snowballs, hike to access secret spots, film your friends doing awesome trips and upload these videos online for the rest of the world to see.

The Wii version will include a brand new exlcusive storyline, about you travelling the world with your crew and participating in a variety of crazy events. The first images of the game can be found in the media panel.

Thrilling. Looks like I might be picking it up on the 360 then. Doesn't help that the visuals are borderline PS1/2 era.

Well I was only interested in the 360 version but hearing it'll use the Balance board on Wii sounds good. Especially after playing the snowboarding mini game in Wi Fit and the fact it seems we'll never be getting We Ski down here icon_sad.gif
