DBZ Burst Limit demo coming May 29th

360 News | Game also dated for Australia.
Atari has announced that the demo for Dragonball Z: Burst Limit will be released on the Xbox Live Marketplace on May the 29th. The demo has already been released on the US marketplace, but Australians have been forced to wait.

It's not all bad news though, with Atari confirming the final game will be released in Australia and New Zealand on July the 3rd, 2008, which is only a few weeks after the American release of the game.

For anyone interested, you can get the PS3 demo now from the US store. I really enjoyed the demo.

I downloaded the US demo and unfortunately I have to disagree with mipac. I hated the demo, while the gameplay felt speedy and fast (which I liked btw) the controls were terrible in my opinion. I'm getting tired of button-mashing controls. The button combinations to do various combos are sometimes a challenge to memorize and now all I do is bash random buttons to try and inflict some actual damage on the enemy. The music and dialogue was crap also, it felt lame, but the sound-effects for various attacks sounded mad.

I know it was only a demo and that is why I will be renting the game beforehand ...

Downloaded the demo. Very dissapointed with this. I didn't like the feel of it. While the graphics are nice (backgrounds are still boring) I didn't like the way the cut scenes worked. It still feels gimped.

I didnt like the demo that much, the framerate was bad and its pretty much the same game as the first budokai.

^ Yeah I wasn't impressed either. Some PS mag have it 6/10 I saw also. Doesnt' bode well. My interest in the this has dropped almost completely. Pity, I was hoping for an awesome DBZ next-gen title.

Actually I like the fact it feels more like the first budokai as I wasn't the biggest fan of the Tenkaichi series. Personally I thought the graphics were done great especially the cutscenes and the gameplay was just as good as the last games so I have no quarells. I'm going to have to have a few more plays of it but I'm about 95% sure I'll be getting this game on launch.. I really need a new fun fighter for the 360 and I think this could be it!

I really like the demo, I think they've done a good job with the fighting system, and the cutscenes are really well integrated and well made. It plays somewhat like an advanced, refined version of the Budokai games on the PS2. The removal of the need to manually charge up power is great, as it means the fighting is much faster and more fluid. I didn't see any frame rate issues at all. Definitely a day 1 purchase for me. icon_smile.gif
