Infinite Undiscovery release date announced

360 News | Worldwide release for September.
Some more details about Square-Enix's upcoming Xbox 360 exclusive RPG called Infinite Undiscovery have been revealed, including the fact that it will be released worldwide this September. Specifically, the game has been given a European release date of September 5, which means that Australia surely won't be too far behind.

The game is being made by developer tri-Ace, who would be mostly recognised as the developers behind the Star Ocean franchise. Infinite Undiscovery has a traditional RPG narrative where a young boy is suddenly placed into a situation where he must save the world from some evil-doers, but battles will not necessarily be so traditional.

When talking about the battle system, Square-Enix elaborates: "As players are faced with a variety of episodic situational battles, they will discover that they may have to try various methods to defeat the enemy, where the most obvious solution is rarely the right move. Snipe distant enemies with the help of a bow-wielding ally or skilled magic user. Based on each player's decisions, the intricate environments will offer a variety of experiences, presented in a way never before seen in RPGs."

We'll have more on Infinite Undiscovery as it draws closer to its September release date.

Clearly you spend the entire game just doing nothing... forever. Or maybe at the start of the game you walk in on your parents doing, you know, so spend the rest of the game trying to "undiscover" that mental image.
