GRID demo downloaded a million times

360 News | Are you one of the million?
Codemasters has announced that the playable demo for Race Driver: GRID has past the one million downloads mark. This figure accounts for downloads for all three versions of the game. Still, considering the demo was only released a few weeks ago it's quite an achievement.

Race Driver: GRID is set for release next month in Australia on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC formats. To read our thoughts on the game, simply head over to our hands on preview. Based on early impressions, it seems that Codemasters has delivered again.

GRID caught me totally by surprise. Not only does it look visually stunning on the PS3, but the gameplay & sound are top notch too. I have no hesitation in picking-up this title. AWESOME

I got the 360 demo; did anyone else get slowdown or lag or whatever the hell it was on the Mustang ebay race? Going up the hill, the game would pause, like lag... I played the race three times and it did it every time. It wasn't slowdown like a normal game struggling with the frame rate, it was actual stop-start, and incredibly intrusive.

shame that the game is CRAP. For all those people out the front of my house, Really take a long look at what this game ''claims'' and what it delivers....

Realistic damage: i mean, GTAIV has better damage phsyics

Smart AI: oh, you mean the dumb ass AI that drives into my car instead of knowing that im there? yeh....

V8 Dl content later (maybe): oh but its going to cost us... WTF !!

Realistic racing experience: where??, because its not the car dynamics, you dont even need the brakes because the cars feel like they weigh nothing at all.

Slow motion replay is really the only thing thats any good imo

Im scared for what butchery they are going to do to my beloved Formula 1 franchise...
