WWE Legends of WrestleMania Announced

360 News | The grandaddies of wrestling return, Woo!
During an investor conference call today, THQ has broadcasted the news that a new WWE title is heading our way. Titled WWE Legends of WrestleMania, the game will be making its way onto both the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 consoles. THQ explains the title as being an offshoot from the currently popular WWE SmackDown vs. RAW franchise, this time the action will squarely be focused on former champions and crowd favourites from the hallowed halls of spandex riddled sports entertainment.

Not much is known about the game at the moment - nor the wrestlers that will appear in it, but THQ has made it known that they intend to have the game ready to coincide with Wrestlemania 25 celebrations when the next iteration of the major spectacle on the wrestling calender holds court in March 2009.

Let's hope this one has a step in the right direction, game wise, while also being a breath of fresh character wise.

Must say temptation to go to 'Mania 25 is quite high, except for the fact it's in Houston... :/
