Why release that when they should release what will (or rather, what wont) be in the DVD?

Doesn't seem to be too much variety in there from what I can see...

Yeah it's fairly rap-heavy.

The intro or theme song is awesome. Really grows on you.

Nothing overly special, although I was expecting the soundtrack cd to be a disappointment. Looks like only a few songs I will actually listen to, namely the Nas track.

As for Lord Haart's comment, the reason all the songs weren't released on a dvd would be licensing issues and having to pay more to the companies to release the songs on a compilation disc seperate to being actually used in the game.

Am I the only one that has never heard of any of those songs or artists?

If you haven't heard of Bob Marley & The Wailers then you need to seriously reappraise your listening habits.

I don't 'follow' the rap scene anymore but this doesn't make sense to me...Havoc + Prodigy = Mobb Deep, no?

This is worth it for one reason and one reason only - Joe Walsh.

The rap group Mobb Deep is made up of Havoc and Prodigy, two rappers.

You havn't heard of Busta Rhymes?

For those that like hip hop i would have loved to have seen Nas have his track "New York State of Mind" in the game. Probably my favourite gangsta rap track of all time.

Any news on radio?
I don't own a next gen console yet, and am currently looking into a ps3/gtaIV bundle (i know about dlc, but im buying it on ps3 for gt5, mgs4 ect). Is it possible to put your own music in the game?
^^ On xbox360 you can play your own MP3s during any game instead of the games soundtrack.

PS3 you cant. But really there are enough varied types of music in this game you can just change the radio station to one you like.
