Battlefield: Bad Company dated

360 News | Sooner than we thought.
EA Australia has confirmed via a press release that Battlefield: Bad Company will be released on June the 26th, 2008.

The game will be available on both the Xbox 360 and the PlayStation 3 on the 26th. EA has also confirmed that the Gold Edition of Bad Company will also be released on the 26th. The gold edition features exclusive content, with behind-the-scenes action and strategy videos.

“Players can forget about using walls as cover as we’ve fundamentally changed the way to play shooters offline and online through the use of tactical destruction,” says Karl-Magnus Troedsson, Senior Producer for Battlefield: Bad Company. “Players will get the chance to reap the spoils of war this summer as they annihilate the enemy and search for gold in the dark, character-driven, single player storyline while returning Battlefield fans will love the intense and vehicle heavy multiplayer.”

Meh, too many nOOb cannons going off all over the place. Not interested unless we get a demo to prove me otherwise...

This is the game that tried charging players for guns right? I won't think less of anyone who wanted to buy this game but I don't think you'd be sending the right message.

Vote with your wallets people. Like there isn't 100 other options out there for a similar gaming experience. If a company tried to fleece the fuck out of me for wanting to play their game, I'd tell them to go shove it and I'd never look back.

Uhh, they kinda backflipped on the idea dude.

Expect a DLC Pack sponsored by Energizer Lithium for 1500GP and if you add in an extra 125GP, you get new Horse Armour!

I know, but that was only because a lot of angry people kicked up a stink. You know that they'd have gone through with it if they thought they could get away with it and that's enough for me to keep my cash to myself. That's not to say I'd was ever interested, I'm just saying, if I was, I wouldn't be now... yeah.

Besides, their solution to the shameful cash grab was just as bad, if not worse than shelling out the extra monies. Why in my right mind, would I want to hand over my personal details to god knows who, to get the guns and therefore remain competitive? It's a f***ing joke and I don't want any part of it.

That said, it's your money so I'm not going to tell you how to spend it. Just keep in mind the precedent you may be helping to set. Think Guitar Hero song packs.
