COD4 maps break XBL record

360 News | Call of Duty 4 Variety Map Pack sells like hotcakes.
The Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare juggernaut keeps on rolling on with confirmation that the game has set a new record for the most downloaded paid-for content on the Xbox Live service.

In its first nine days on XBL, the Call of Duty 4 Variety Map Pack was downloaded a staggering one million times. To date, the game itself has invaded many gamers lives with over nine million people purchasing the game.

Activision also threw down a few more interesting stats, with reports stating that Xbox Live members have played in excess of thirty million COD4 sessions and logged more than thirty-two million hours of gameplay.

While Xbox Live users have already had the chance to play with the new maps, our console cousins on the PlayStation 3 will have to wait a little longer until they get the opportunity, with the map pack dropping on the PS3 on May 1st.

If you have not taken the plunge to purchase the Call of Duty 4 Variety Map Pack, why don't you check out PALGN's verdict on the new content to help you decide?

Okay you kind of fixed it, but highlight is on after I click the link. I assume you just searched Call of Duty 4, clicked the article you want, then linked.
This should work (not that I doubt your ability, but just saving some time)

Just wondering what the figures are for Halo 3 just to compare AAA games.

That's a LOT of downloads in 9 days, no wonder Live was so slow last week
