Assault Heroes and Doom to become part of the XBLA Hits range

360 News | Plus a sneak peek at some upcoming releases.
Microsoft have announced via a press release that Assault Heroes and Doom will become part of the Xbox Live Arcade Hits range this Wednesday, permanently lowering the titles to 400 points each.

Along with the news was a sneak peek at what is going to be released on the XBLA service over the next few weeks. Some of the titles include Rocky and Bullwinkle which is a mini-game compilation, a videogame adaptation of the Japanese board game Shotest Shogi, and TiQal, a puzzle game where players have to demolish enemy block walls by matching squares of the same colour. Also on the cards is a trivia game called Wits and Wagers, and the arcade classic Wolf of the Battlefield: Commando 3.

No official prices or release dates were provided, but we’ll let you know once more information becomes available.

I've wanted to get Assault Heros but I thought 800 points was a bit much so I guess I'll probably pick it up after Wednesday.

Ha, me too! All I need is those 50 kills/100 kills deathmatch achievements, and I can put Doom to bed.
